Hello. I am wondering if anyone knows of a set of long tube headers that will work with a LS and 4l70e transmission. I’m considering building a set but I would rather buy some as spare time is limited.

There’s plenty of room, but possibly not enough ground clearance. And the flanges are huge. It’ll take a little r & r.

I am have that engine/ trans. combination on a gen1. I don't think there would be enough room. It was hard enough getting the recommended manifolds and down pipes to fit. If I remember correctly Jim Lev used the shorty headers but had to build his own down pipes. 120815120816

I currently have a set of shorty BBK headers for a 2010 Camaro and they fit great. I had to build my own down pipes but I know I’m loosing out on 15-20 hp so I was wondering if anybody got a set of long tubes to fit. I’ll probably just order a header kit and build my own.

The shorty BBK's fit my LS3 just fine. I did have to fab the down pipes to match up with the pipes going to the mufflers. Due to the heat I insulated all the pipes after the collectors and the mufflers too.
In the Gen 1 body there isn't enough room for off the shelf long tube headers, don't know about the Gen 2.
Maybe some custom 4:2:1 might work.
