View Full Version : Took the tour and ordered my 33 today.

I went over to Factory Five this morning and Rick from tech support gave us a great tour. We saw all of the production areas, packaging, the R&D garage, and the prototype 818 chassis. After the tour, I finally got to sit in a 33 to make sure I'd fit reasonably comfortably, and I did. So I ordered my kit. Its on the production schedule to be completed 10/8. Can't wait to get this build started. I'll start a build thread with all the details next week when I get home from vacation.

It reads as if you are on vacation when you pulled the trigger. Where is home? It is always a good idea to have where you live listed in your profile as for all you know, there could be someone in your hometown also building.

I am on vacation, touring Factory Five and buying the 33 was part of our trip. I'm from San Diego, so about as far away from Wareham as you can get while still being in the US. :) Thanks for the tip, I'll update my profile next week.

Congratulations on your upcomming build! There are a lot of FFR owners in the San Diego area including one new transplant named Ray. Keep us posted on your build and I hope to meet you some day.
