Hello all. I have been looking into buying a serious sports car for a few years now. Just turned 60, have the funds and time and experience to do what would be fun start to finish.
I have had sports cars all my life starting with a Datsun SP311, Triumph GT6+ & a Z3 now, just to name the most fun.
Does anyone know where I can find the specs on the 65?

Welcome!! Whereabouts in Canada are you? I'm hanging out in Vancouver...

What sort of specs are you looking for? I assume you've cruised through all the info on the factory five web site including what you get in the complete kit
https://www.factoryfive.com/type-65-coupe/what-you-get-complete-kit/

and the bottom of this page has a lot of other specs...

Specs? As far as wheelbase, weight, or?

Lot's of builders here in Canada, Some places have more than others though.

Thanks FF33Rod for that link. I had not found the wheelbase and such at the bottom of the page.

Glad to see you're local.
I picked up the kit (33 hot rod) in Blaine from Stewart Transport and drove it across. Get quite a few parts delivered there as well and pop down in the evening to grab them. Border is pretty lenient with bring stuff across with no duty (generally under a couple of hundred US). Local auto stores are okay for very common supplies but for actual parts it's hopeless so order a lot on the internet.

Feel free to reach out if you need help of any kind. For assistance in Canadian completion kits and such, Ryan Valin custom cars in Ontario is the guy to chat with....

Cheers

Well the Daytona's are still pretty rare in BC. but there are quite a few roadsters.
