I have to remove the wiper arms from the splined shaft. Someone please chime in on how the wiper arms are removed.
I see the “L” tab and moved in every direction possible but the arms will not come off.
Please help before I take a grinder to these things.

One of these will make it very simple.

The little tab needs to be pulled out (not depressed) and this tool lets you do that by levering the base of the arm outward while gripping the arm to lift it off the splines.

That little tab clicks under the bottom of the shaft to secure the wiper arm. Pulled out (away from the center) the arm should be free to come off. Sometimes the fit of the splines between the arm and the shaft aren't the best. If it's that hard to pull off, unlikely that little tab is holding it up. Grinder is a solution  but shouldn't be necessary. Wasn't aware there was a tool for that tab. Nice.
