Where is the latch on yours? A pic would be great!

Does the back of the hood slide forward at all, or does it go straight up from seated position then tilt forward? Does the front go straight up then forward? Maybe, I can beg a short video taken from straight on side? I sure would appreciate any info

Thanks y’all.

I’m currently installing them. They more or less open on a forward arc.
I’m not thrilled with the center hood latch on the firewall. I’m using a pair of mini QL25 Quik latches.
Ill try a video tomorrow.

Thanks! I’m considering those same latches. Maybe. I don’t have much on the body though.

I’d appreciate that.

I’m curious how you guys plan to do the Quick Latch set up. I’m not sure what my plan is for hood latching, I only know that I really don’t like the supplied center latch idea.

My plan is to mount the recess mount cup with the pin on top of the cowl and latches In the hood. In the areas of the evaporator and the pedal box.

That looks like a good way to do it. Also will help stabilize the hood better I think.

Denny, do the visible parts of that look like they can be taken apart and chromed?

Like the idea. I’d really like to see that as you progress.

They offer six different finishes.

Thanks dude. They have stainless which can be polished so that should work for me.
