Hey, it rained in Vegas...... Once !
I have not looked at prices but Vegas is in a major boom right now. Thanks to California!

We moved to NM 3.5 years ago to escape the MA winters, taxes, and general BS from the politicians.
Avg yearly rainfall is 12".
We travel to AZ, UT, and CO frequently. We especially love the parks in southern UT.

I bought a lot in Ivins Utah, just west of St. George. Looking to build my home in the next few years for retirement. Beautiful area for driving the cobra. Tons of outdoor recreation. Can get a little hot though. But the weather is similar to where i live now in Elk Grove, CA.

I don't think it's that much better regarding politics. You'll have to move South for that I think?
