Just a friendly reminder to fellow gearheads out there, not to let your arm rest on the shifter of your manual while driving. it can cause premature wear and failure of wear items in the transmission.120233

Yep, defiantly not going to do the shifter fork pads any favors.

We don't need no stinkin' fork pads!

Wear? That looks like disintegration.

I upgraded to bronze when I did some work on mine.

Also put in a dead pedal & don't rest your foot on the clutch.

The next thing you know, you will tell me to stop texting and taking naps while I drive, and do crazy things like check my mirrors and gauges.

Only time my hand is on the Shifter is to change a gear , Same with the clutch only have my foot on the clutch when shifting .. The clutch pedal isn't a foot rest.....
