Hi Ed

The fabulous AZPete has an A/C how-to guide for the Gen I vintage air setup. PM me your e-mail address and I'll send Pete's guide and a parts list that I have complied for the Gen II model which is slightly different in that you don't need to run a vacuum line to the controls.

Cheers

I just installed the Vintage Air Mini Gen2 and followed AZPete's instructions with one change. You do not want to buy the LS heater valve, but instead purchase this H-fitting from vintage air to allow for coolant bypass https://www.ebay.com/itm/153452894866 . The reason for this is that the GenII unit uses an electric servo instead of a vacuum heater valve so it is not easy to control a vacuum-type 4 way valve.

Good catch. Way back when I put AC in my 818 the Mini used vacuum, but the more recent version is electric - a good improvement.
