I sent some pics to Grundy's for insurance.
Insurance required before inspections.
I lack some trim and will hang the mirrors for inspection.
If I can get a tag, I have to put a tune in the computer and bed the brakes.
Winters can be good or bad here, hope to get some seat time soon.
Grundy's closed until the 6th.

I just got a policy from grundy also a couple weeks ago. My insurance guy did all the work for me they wanted pictures of all four corners and a couple shots of the engine . I set my replacement value at 50k and they issued me a policy with a picture of the cirtificate of origin and stamp # . 315 annually Rob

Sounds like you did well with registration. My local requires 4 items and an inspection.
I have MSO, Manufacturers State of Origin, bill of sale, drivers license, and proof of insurance.
Also a notarized statement from the owner, builder.

I just tried Grundy and they won't cover our Roadster. They want us to each have a "daily driver" and won't accept a motorcycle as one, even with us living in San Diego with year 'round riding weather. With us both being retired, we simply don't each need a car so we have a Tacoma, a Harley and the FFR.

Grundy will work well for others but since we don't "fit into their profile" they don't cover us.
