Help with ID wire from distributor

Hey guys,
I'm deep into wiring and think I've got most of it figured out, but had a quick question. Can you tell me what I'm supposed to do with this grey wire coming from the distributor that is wrapped up? The red and orange ones next to it go to the coil.
This is on a Blueprint 427 with Sniper EFI.

Gray wire would typically be your tach input.

It is the tach wire. You can connect it to the tach wire in the RF harness. Don't forget to run +12v (switched) power to the coil(+) post. The orange EFI/Coil wire in the RF harness is what I recommend. It looks like you are also running the Sniper EFI, so split the EFI/Coil wire and also run a feed to the Sniper's pink +12v (switched) wire.

Papa, I did exactly as you described. Just want to personally thank you for your detailed instructions on how to wire up the Sniper. This was intimidating for me but your posts were so clear, I did exactly as you said. I hope it works! Thank you!
