Has anyone else had trouble with the fit for the gauge pod to the dash? I have a good 1/4" in the middle of each side. Am assuming I have to trim down, but cutting the dash sucks as it tends to melt and fray.

Thoughts?

Tried two different pods I have.

Thanks in advance for help

I believe I did some slight trimming of that area and a little contouring with a heat gun to better fit the shape. Seemed to go fairly smooth, the fraying can be easily cleaned up by sanding the edges. Most FFR fiberglass and dash panels require a little trimming.

FYI a multi-tool or versa-tool (left-right vibrating blade) type cutter works pretty well for trimming this material. I use a Dewalt battery one that has speed control, at lower speeds it cuts well with minimal melting problem.

that's what mine looks like. You can't tell when your staring at it from the drivers seat. I was going to make a small trim piece to throw a shadow on it

mine also fits like ****, i just chalked it up as the lackluster interior. I'm really thinking through the improvements i'm going to make to the interior just not sure yet.
