Not sure if you have a question or are just making a statement. Terry's mirrors (sold by Breeze as well) work perfectly with the FFR windwings.

No special tips or tricks I can think to share.

To be more specific, I am considering blue loctite on most of the threads, good, bad or ugly?
I am hesitant to remove the paper from the wind wings, but need to get it from under the contact points.
Any tips on tightening the set screws on the windshield, just let it make a dimple or drill a dimple for the set screw?

I pulled the paper back in the area where the hardware attaches to the wind wing and mounted the hardware. Be careful not to over tighten the screws as you could crack the plexiglass. I didn't dimple the windshield frame and just let the set screw do their thing. I had to adjust mine after installing the top, so I'm glad I didn't use any thread lock. I have the proper Allen wrench in my tool kit if I ever need to tighten things up.

Do not use blue Loctite anywhere near the plastic wind wings. Especially on the screws that go through the wind wings. It will craze and crack the plastic. Well known issue with Loctite, which I can personally verify.

I waited until they were completely installed to pull the paper. Pull it up temporarily in the places where the brackets contact, cut a square to clear, and lay it back down. Worked for me.

I drilled a small dimple in the windshield frame for the set screws. Locks them firmly in place and makes sure those expensive mirrors (and wind wings) don't have an unplanned departure. Also helps to make sure they don't come loose when you bump into either when getting in and out or whatever. Which you will.

As previously stated, DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN!! I only snugged them a little and they crazed. This was even after Jeff Kliener warned me!!
