View Full Version : First Start Troubleshooting Questions
Did my first start today and after turning the MAF sensor around it started right up and ran great (see links below). However, the tach and water temp (vintage) gauges aren't working. I followed the installation instructions for both. Any thoughts on where to start trouble shooting?

The Speedhut water temp gauge takes a while to register. Try letting it run a few minutes and see if the gauge reads correctly.
On the tach, I'll let someone more familiar with the Coyote wiring chime in.

We did a first start on a Coyote a couple weeks ago with the Speedhut Gauges. The water temp gauge stays at the lower threshold for quite a while during the warm up. The tach wire is tied to the driverside rear coil wire correct? After that you need to go into the setup for the gauge and set it to 1/2 of a cycle per revolution to properly register the Coyote engine speed.
