I have a new coolant leak at the intersection of the block, head, and intake. It's coming from right there in the corner (see arrow in pic).

My suspicion is that it's leaking from that area where you're supposed to add a glob of sealant in the corners.

Like my Barbie mirror? It's been an invaluable tool in my garage for many years.

Use Bars radiator stop leak. Its the one that looks like liquid silver, it's compatible with all antifreeze and with aluminum engines.

Use Bars radiator stop leak.

I'm really hoping you're joking. No way am I going to use some crappy stop leak product in my high-performance engine. If it clogs up a leak, imagine all the small cooling passages that are getting clogged too. If I were asking about a 1998 Honda Civic, maybe.

Suggest you check your thermostat housing and hoses. That area tends to be a catch basin for other leaks. I swapped to an O-ringed TH (billet specialties) and it fixed that type of leak. My 2 cents. Good Luck. Scott

Thanks, checked that. Sure wish that was the source.

NO I am not joking. The Bars coolant Stop leak is a great product that work just as advertised. It has water wetter additives the promote cooling, and water pump lube. There are NO cooling passages so small that it could clog them. It's used by new car manufactures. Your 'high-performance' engine is no more special and different than any engine. "crappy stop leak" shows your lack of knowledge and ability to research info.

But of course when your small "tubes" of your radiator start to clog up using that stop leak and then it looses it cooling efficiency then at least your engine is OK. I've use that Bars stuff a few times and true, never had a problem in the engine, but it will stop up a radiator. I agree with Bill_Va... Rich must be joking.

I would guess if you only have a very minor leak, you may be able to lower your coolant level below that, dry it up and perhaps inject some silicone sealant into where it is coming out. From looking at your photo, the "intake" is not involved with this but hard to see for sure. If it is a seeping type of leak I'm sure you can fix it without too much trouble.

Whatever dude. I'm going to fix it the right way and pull the intake.

I had a leak in that area and it was the timing cover, the only used item on my engine. I replaced it and all is well. I found it by pressurizing the cooling system to 15 lbs. and watching it.

I pulled the intake and installed a new FelPro gasket set (old Edelbrock set not so great). No leaks, no seeps, no errors.
