Anybody have any experience with the optional vinyl dash with glove box as far as fitting. Just doing some preliminary mock ups before removing the body and it appears the ends of the dash have a clearance problem with the body. I relieved the body roll over in the area where it fits up and behind the lip, but the center is about at the bottom of the top tube at this point. It looks like both ends are striking the outer edge of the body right where it starts past the door opening. Has anyone had to trim the dash to make it fit ?

Final dash ends are bent forward after the dash hoop. You do need to trim about 2-3 in off the PS end.
I didn't trim anything off the dash. Position the dash with the steering shaft centered in the opening and then set the dash against the hoop so it's level. That's about the best you'll get. Beware that the left-most gauge (speedo or tach depending on your preference) may touch the body and you'll either need to clearance the body or drop the dash 1/4" or so. The ends of my dash sat on the frame where the door hinges mount.

This picture shows where my dash was rubbing on the body:

I didn’t have to trim anything off my dash either. It might have rubbed a 1/4” spot on the drivers side, but nothing significant.
