I'm trying to install the E-Brake cable to my IRS Wilwood brakes and FF sent me a set of what they call cable extensions. Can someone tell me how this are supposed to be installed? Photos of the extensions and the cable end are attached.
Thank you in advance for any assistance. - Tim

The extensions (the flat pieces) are installed between the clevises and the adjuster.

You should have received brackets for the caliper end as well. They adapt the cable to that caliper e brake arm.

All I received from FF were the two pieces shown in my original post. How does the right angle piece that captures the cable end attach to the caliper?

It looks to me like the swaged end of the cable should slip through the rectangular opening and rest on the small 90 degree bend. Then, slide the other end between the two pieces of the caliper actuator arm and capture with a bolt through the holes in the actuator and bracket.

Thank you for the reply. That's what I will do. They didn't provide any bolts or nuts for either end but I can come up with those myself. Thanks again.

BTW, when I slide the other end between the two pieces of the caliper actuator arm the holes don't line up so I will bolt the bracket to the outside but make sure its oriented so the cable end is centered between the two pieces of the caliper actuator arm. Thanks again.
Glad I could help. I'd also recommend painting those raw steel parts or they are going to rust pretty bad.

The cable extensions were missing when I went to instal the e-brake, so I had FFR send out two more, but as luck would have it the extensions made it too long. Just an “FYI” that you might not need them, but you most likely will need the return spring mod to keep the right rear e-brake from dragging.

I used the crosspiece off a U-Bolt to fabricate the missing spacers. I drilled the hole for the rod end a bit off-center, so that as the brake cables stretch I can flip the spacer around if needed to take up slack.
