Hey guys! Another question. I have a one wire alternator on my 427W. Unfortunately, with the March bracket I’m using the wire post on the alternator ends up on the bottom (at the 5:30 position). With the alternator wire boot cover on the post the rubber boot is in constant contact with the engine block. Is this a problem? Of course, I can pull the boot off but It just doesn’t look right. What are your thoughts?

Can you clock the rear section of the alternator so the charge post is in a better spot. Don’t know what alternator you have but, I removed the four bolts that held mine together and turned the rear section 90 degrees to get the post to a good location. If you can’t definitely leave the boot in place.
