Ok guys, I’m starting the wiring on my 33 and to say I’m overwhelmed is an understatement. I have a Blueprint 306 SBF (Holley Sniper EFI) with TKO tranny. I’m guessing this combo, or something close, has been built multiple times already.
I’ve read the instructions in the build manual, the book that came with the RF kit, the Holley booklet and various instruction sheets packaged with individual components and I’m worn out and can see many conflicts, overlaps and gaps in trying to meld all of them together.

So, before I start firing off question after question that have probably been answered scores of times, I thought I’d ask this one first...

Is there a “wiring for dummies” cheat sheet somewhere - or an FAQ list - for marrying the Sniper EFI to the FFR provided wiring system?

This isn't as complicated as you might think. I can offer my experience, but the first thing you need to do is identify the type of ignition system you have. Mine is a simple distributor and coil. If you have a more advanced setup that can control timing through the EFI, I don't have experience with those.

For a basic system, you only have a few of the wires that you'll need to connect.

1. Large red wire to battery(+)
2. Large black wire to battery(-)
3. From the Sniper 7-pin connector, connect the blue wire to your fuel pump(+). There are many options that we can discuss later.
4. Also from the Sniper 7-pin, connect the yellow wire to the coil(-) post
5. Also from the Sniper 7-pin, connect the pink wire to the orange EFI/coil wire in the RF harness
Also run a lead from the orange EFI/Coil wire to the coil(+) post.
6. From the Sniper 10-pin, run the light blue wire to either of the RF green Fan Thermo Switch wires. This will allow the EFI to control your fan through the RF fan relay.

That is it for a standard distributor and coil.

I recommend de-pinning and installing insulator plugs in all the unused wires to avoid RFI issues.

Papa,
That’s the kind of info I was looking for! I’m pretty sure mine is a distributor and coil set up. When I get be
Ack in the shop, I’m going to chase your list down and I’ll let you know. Thanks for the quick and clear reply. BTW, your Cobra is cat-daddy.
