Guys,
what size tires should I be looking at for 18" Hali wheels?
according to my calculation they come out to:
245/40R-18
315/30R-18
Do I have these correctly for the clearance?
Thanks in advance.

I bought 265's for up front, I've heard of some people putting 275's up front. Haven't driven mine yet, but they should have enough clearance.
FFR recommends a 255 front. I'm running a 245 front and 315 rear.

Running BFGoodrich g-Force Rival S 245/40ZR18 in the front, and BFGoodrich g-Force Rival S 315/30ZR18 in the rear on #8674, and IMO they fit perfectly. Very happy with them and chose the same brand for my Coupe build. BFGoodrich doesn't make a 255 in that series. Next up is 275 and those can work but chose not to go that way. The 245's are nearly the exact width of the 17-inch 255 Nittos I had on #7750. So look at actual dimensions. Not just the tire size.

yep, FFR recommends 255/35 for front for the 18's. Pretty sure i'm rolling with the R888R's, they are sexy as heck and seem to do well with getting the HP to the ground

Agree that's a great choice for traction. Looked at them seriously myself. Couple of cautions. They need to be warm and may not like the wet. So for street driving, just be careful. Where I live, even summer mornings can be cool. So stayed with a more all weather street performance tire. Also, based on the tread rating, miles on those will be relatively low.

Pretty warm here in NC most the driving season, so not a huge concern. I was curious on the mileage i'd get out of them however.
