I intended to use a BS kit I had in the garage that was purchased for my 03 Mach1. For some reason I can't lay my hands on it right now???? I prefer that look and adjust ability so I plan to order another BS kit. Because I had never tried the previous kit I got to thinking perhaps it wouldn't work anyway.
What I need to know is what are the tie rod ends in the kit compatible with. I don't need to experiment with parts when shipping is so high. Ford changed Mustang tie-rod ends in 1994 from SAE 9/16"-18 to M14x1.5 so even if it's a Mustang part I need to know what year. If it's not a Mustang part, what is the thread spec for the unisteer rack used with the 33?
Geoff,
It is 9/16"-18 thread. A quick search of the supplied Uni-Steer tie rod end, part # 8021250. 79-83 MustangII/Granada. So a BS kit for a Mustang II should work. (maybe?) Or a Fox BS kit?

Thanks, I actually didn't leave on my trip and found the BS kit up in the attic. It's a Baer drill through (5/8") for the 03 Mustang so it won't work but it will trade well. If the trade fails I know a QA1 guy that can help.

We have a bump steer kit for the Mk4. The Hot Rod shares the same spindles. Here is a link to the page in our parts catalog. https://factoryfiveparts.com/product.php?productid=16237&cat=255&page=1
Our kits use newer style Mustang parts. It is not compatible with Mustang II components.

Just to be clear you mean the 79-93 with the SAE outer tie rods? The kit above is a drill through type, is this recommended over the taper mount? It obviously offers more mounting options.
I have a used "fox" drill through kit that someone is giving me tomorrow. I hope it has sufficient length to do the job. I can always have it refinished or polish the barrels.
