Hi Guys,
I can't find the link to the info on the spring for the e brake mod.
Can someone post the link or item information on the spring needed.

PS-I have the FFR supplied performance brakes.
Are the E brake cables suppose to have a E-clip to hold the cable into the caliper?
Mine did not come with any E-clips, but I see a under cut ring in the e brake cable.

Thanks for the inputs
Martin

I used a pair of 3-1/4" length, 7/16" O.D., .062 wire gauge (Hillman Item # 540120, #40) springs. I also added a pair of 1/2” E-clips to secure the cable sheath to the bracket.

Note that this is for the Wilwood setup with the parking brake integrated into the caliper.

While not FFR related, it is essentially the same parts. Upgraded my Fox Mustang to rear disc/five-lug many years ago. They use the same parking brake cables and you can get the correct Ford clips from National Parts Depot (major Mustang restoration parts company). Not sure where you are located, but they have retail ops in CA, MI, NC, and FL, and obviously mail order.

The springs I used were Century Spring C730, 13/32 x 2 ¾ x .047 (from True Value Hardware), which looks to be 1/2 shorter, and smaller wire dia. than John's. They seem to work. No hang ups or sticky pads. (I have the 3 link straight axel, different caliper it looks like. Mine are Wilwood).

No I'm not. Either they weren't noted in the manual, or maybe I missed that instruction. Bottom line is there is nothing holding the cable housing in the mount/bracket other than not enough slack in the inner cable to allow it to back out. Haven't had any issues with the cable housing end backing out of the bracket. So far working fine.
