I tried searching but did not find an answer, when removing the cab is it better to lift and go forward or lift and go aft? My kit arrived last Saturday and other than inventory I really can't do much due to all the parts I'm waiting on. Fed-Ex was supposed to deliver 7 boxes today but because of a weather delay that won't happen now until Monday.

It looks to me like the body needs to come off so the sheet metal panels can be marked completely for drilling?

Thanks in advance, Gary

Gary read the manual it’s a snug fit. But I removed mine on the first day to build the chassis . Rob

I got a drill powered lift designed to store stuff up next to the ceiling. I put two 2x4's through the cab and lift it on and off by myself. Otherwise, you will need to find 3 strong neighbors to lift it over your head.

I have an inexpensive electric hoist. Cut four straps and lift straight up. Just need to work the front over the hinge mounts a little at a time but Ive had mine on and off by myself probably 15 times. Cab dose not weigh much so not to much stress on whatever you have for a ceiling.
