I realized the type 65 has a 5-inch longer wheelbase so with that said, does the engine compartment have more room?
I'd like to put a dry sump system on my engine.

Think they did that on the Lagano coupe, so should be good!

Much more room than the roadster. Our has a Coyote with two EFR turbos packaged in front of the engine behind the front cross braces. I don't remember the dimensions but I'll measure tomorrow and give you some measurements.

The hood height is lower than the Roadster so if you are going with Ford small block the air cleaner space is tight especially with a 351 based engine. Otherwise lots of space.

Thanks guys!
Chris,
I look forward to your information. Do you have a coupe or a coupe r?

If you need more room, consider stuffing in an LS.
Here's an inexpensive option to look at:

Move the engine forward and you'll have plenty of room for a T56.
Good Luck & Happy Wrenching!

Godadgo,
Aluminum block, billet crank and rods, pistons, steel billet cam core...are in house.
I don't want to do what the trend is however..

Sorry but I didn't realize that you had your engine already.
Also, I totally understand NOT wanting to do what the trend is and I think I'm the only guy with a 383 SBC/Dart, ZF 6-Speed and a 3-Link Dana 44 out back.
For the record, I really want to build a Type-65 down the road, but I haven't got the budget nor the skills to tackle a Daytona at this time.
Good Luck From The Dark Dart Side!

Can’t speak for your budget but as for the skills if you can build a roadster you can build a Coupe. ;)

Has anyone put a V10 from a Viper? I have done searches and nothing comes up.
Thanks

Waiting for the cylinder heads and billet steel 54 mm camshaft core.. it will more likely be a 5 stage dry sump system.

Ross Pistons, total seal rings, Oliver Billet rods, King bearings..

Will the new home be in a Coupe or Roadster?
