The thought had crossed my mind! :D But I was worried it would be a little too literal. Even though I’m going for aircraft style, I’m trying to keep it believable that it could it could be seen in a race car (not a theme car). Even the Jegs pistol grip shifter felt like a stretch.
It’s still tempting though.... I might have to get one for my daily driver FJ.

I like it. What’s the red button on your stick shift? Line lock, nitrous, sidewinder?

I wish it was something cool, but it’s currently connected to the T56 reverse lockout solenoid. I will tell everyone it’s for the passenger eject seat.

Thanks! It's hard to spot in the picture, but I also used one of these NVU units for the indicator lights as well: http://newvintageusallc.mybigcommerce.com/7-lamp-rear-mount-indicator-icons-horiz/
I thought it was a nice stealthy, and compact way to get all of the lights in the panel.
