I took the hotrod off the jack stands for the first time since I installed the cooling system and radiator/grill shell. I've got the deluxe 32 grill. I'm wondering if anyone else has the 32 grill and on the ground in go cart condition. Is there any difference in the ride height from gen 1 to gen 2 with the 32 nose. At 4 1/2" front the grill has 2.25" clearance, seams really low.

You have tons of adjustment....I’m set a 4" currently.

Howdy, is there a way that I could adjust the suspension to something higher than 4 inches?

What's the tradeoff with that proposal?

Just crank up the spring mount. There's quite a bit of adjustment.

I have my front grill sitting @ 5". I can tell you that I definitely feel more confident driving it around and I am not constantly worrying about every dip or pot hole.

I was told by Dave B @FFR that the two GEN II mounting holes are for a high and low ride height. Not, that one is for the Truck and the other for the Hot Rod. Like the 818 R and S. The Lower Holes will add about 1" height and is recommended for full fender cars for sure.

If you are using the lower holes is the target ride height 5 1/5 = this should help with grill hits, I would think.

Just checking with what others are discovering with ride Height...I do not want to worry about nose hits like I do with my 818.

Thanks
