Has anyone done an IRS upgrade on a previous 3-link ? I have a bent rear axle housing and it goes through seals and bearings and getting tired of repairs during race season, so looking at options to either get a new housing and go through the rebuild of the rearend, buy a moser ready to go rearend or switching to IRS.
Thoughts ?

Somewhere on the board there's a thread by CraigS, which shows how he installed the 2015+ IRS into his roadster (which I think was the 3-link). I remember it wasn't exactly easy, but he was pleased with the end result.

I did it a few years back on an early MkIV with the older style of IRS. They might have a few of the old diff cages and arms lying around...

Yes, I did it. If you are a good welder, go for it. Get a salvage yard complete rear suspension and get upgraded rear brakes nearly for free. PM me for details.
