I'm about to order a fastrax 91000 alignment tool and wanted to know if the SPC 91030 FasTrax No Lip Adapter are needed for my 17" halibrand style rims. Would rather not spend the extra $70ish dollars, but if they are needed will pick them up at the same time.

Thanks.

I did not use the adapters. However, I did use a couple of large rubber bands to secure the fastrax 9100 to my wheels. Worked great.

Awesome tip. Thanks. No issue with the tool flexing?

None.

It was fine for setting camber and caster. I didn't care for the toe-in adapters for the fastrax though, and went with automotive toe plates by Zackman Scientific to set toe. Ordered them from Amazon. Comes with two plates and two tape measures. Easy to use.
