View Full Version : Website errors - timeouts
Is anyone else seeing intermittent website service issues over the past week or so? I keep getting timeouts from the host server. It seems to come and go, but is happening more frequently. I've informed Dave H., but just curious if anyone else is seeing the same.

I've experienced this as well, especially over the past 2 days.

Slow response times and time outs, but no errors.
I just thought it was my Swamp Land Spectrum Internet screwing up again.

I've been experiencing it too for the past week or two. Also reported it.

Thanks for the reporting guys. My first request was basically shut down since the hosting service hit the site without error. I've re-submitted a new ticket with this thread as evidence. Hopefully we'll have this taken care of shortly.

If it matters, I had all sorts of trouble last week also.

Well as of this afternoon, almost unusable. :(
I'm getting all kinds of different errors now. Seemed better earlier today than yesterday, but really flaky now.

The recent errors (within the past few hours) were probably related to the work being done on the server.
Please report new errors going forward, or a distinct lack of them.

I think we’re back and running, right?
It was a rough day that progressively got worse with a couple of new errors:

Then, I thought I ticked Dave off:

Thankfully, once I got home from work it has been working perfectly with no signs of any issues. Thanks, Dave for getting us back up and running.

KIDDING!!
Looks like we're back up and running. I'll follow up with a forensic report if it's deemed worthy of report.

Sorry, still having problems at 2 AM PDT. Earlier today I got the famous "your account has been suspended " message. Tonight the site loads very slowly, after timing out twice. Keith

Guys, since I have people working on this, It's important to get accurate information.
Is anyone getting errors TODAY (10/15)? If so, please describe the error (screenshots are best) precisely and whether you can reproduce the error consistently.
Sorry for the disruption and thanks for helping to diagnose the issue,
:)

Couldn't get in at about 6AM eastern time but obviously can right now. Fingers crossed!

No issues for me at all today. I've been on the site several times since around 6am Mountain Time.
I started seeing the 524 Timeout Errors again today starting around 4:40pm (Mountain time).

I had a bunch of errors this morning prior to that last image’s date stamp.
I was seeing the 524 error quite a bit throughout the day yesterday beginning at around 6:30am mountain time.
I haven't seen any errors on the website in several days now. I think it's fixed.

Various errors, including database errors, 503 and slowness has been intermittent for about 2 weeks.
I will document the error next time for troubleshooting with the host provider.

I had problems much longer than that. Couldn't access at 0600 PST, service unavailable and tried every once in awhile after that with service unavailable/database error/timeout.... until finally around 1230 PST we're up again. During that time, it would come up in my browser every now and again only to get an error when I clicked on a thread to read....

I have been getting error messages same as mentioned in above post. I am also having to log in multiple times when moving around in forum. I am also getting an error message when attempting to add pi’s to an album. The error message states an error has occurred you need to log back in or you do not have permission to perform this task. Need some direction.

I think I have a solution for the multiple logons in a session. Check to see if you clicked the remember me box right next to your password....it’s a small little box. Lemme know if that fixes the issue.
