Ok, here's the deal. I'm getting an '06 STi as a DD/AutoX (STU) "terror" (to Bimmers, Evos aren't scared). Deal should be done this weekend.
Given my intended purpose for the 818, I think I'm going mostly donorless with it I'll be using the: block, heads, tranny, column, and rack from the BattleWagon (2000 Legacy Wagon with a "Herbie" heart).
I have a 2002 WRX that was rolled onto it's top at ~55,000mi. I bought it from a guy I used to AutoX with. I had driven it on several occasions before it was wrecked.
It had the tranny rebuilt <5000mi. before it was wrecked.
It would be a complete donor minus: the front control arms and rear transverse links, lateral links, Downpipe and Turbo oilfeed line.
Has an Exedy Stage 1 clutch installed during tranny rebuild. (Doesn't look like it's fully broken in.)
Exedy lightweight flywheel never been used.
Two turbos: Stock TD04 and a used VF34. TheVF34 has never been on this particular car.
I'm thinking price around $3000.
Will entertain offers.

Edit: I'm thinking $2700 is more like it.

BTW: I'm in no hurry. I don'thave to sell it. I'll be finishing stripping it before winter.
Just throwing it out there for those that might be looking. I would rather one of you guys have it.
I would say if none of you guys take it by say June 2012, I'll probably put it on NASIOC for someone doing an RS swap. It won't last long there. I may hold on to it until next fall, we'll see how things go.

I will be interested as time gets closer. I'm in the middle of buying a house, so the time isn't right today, but 6 months from now, Hell yeah.

Sounds good, Go ahead and PM me about it, so when this thread gets buried or archived we don't have to remember each other's user names.

WV is too far from Cali. I'm also looking to get a donor but I'm not too familiar with Subarus. Have to do some research. Sounds like a very good deal though.

It is, and I'm taking it come Spring. Unless he needs it gone before then and I'll figure something out.
