Hi! Lifelong racer here. But I'd given up the FF's for domestic bliss :)
So last Halloween my oldest kid wants to use 1 of my race suits as a costume at school.
As soon as that great smell of nomex hit me... I was done for.
Any way I recommended a factory Five to someone recently and I guess I'm going tin-top when I finally break the news to da wife.

Enjoy your coupe build!!! Welcome to a great place for reformed track-rats to hang out. I'm a NASA HPDE instructor who is "between cars" at the moment.

Hi ya! Thanks for your reply.
Small world. I just posted at NASA about the requirements for teaching HPDE's. Same username btw.
"Between cars" -- may that hell pass quickly.
Welcome!
I appreciate you taking the bother to post.
And your welcome too, of course!

Geared, welcome to the boards, NYC by day here, NJ by night and weekend. We have a pretty good group of guys who get together in Chester for breakfast once a month if you are ever interested, second Sunday of the month, which makes it this coming weekend.
