What interior mirror works best with the MK4 Soft Top?

I’ve seen several posts on options for interior mirror mounting and placement but haven’t been able to find what works with the current MK4 Soft Top from FFR/Rod Tops. I live in the Seattle area where rain protection is a must have much of the year.

I already have the Dream Car wind wing mounted side mirrors and really do want a functional center mounted interior mirror.

Any help would be much appreciated!

I have the standard rear view mirror on the dash. It works fine with the top on.

My top stays on all summer.

I travel with a luggage bag on the trunk, so I got a parts store windshield mirror and screwed the mounting plate to the header of the top. Swapped the set screw on the mirror for a thumb screw. Goes on and off with the top.
