Great Video. My seams are so thin, you can literally shine a light through from underneath. Thankfully, I'm not doing the body work. For those of you that have tackled the body work, I raise a glass in your honor.

Sorry, but there are no seems in the body, it a one piece layup. The reason you see light at the mold parting line is because there is little to no gelcoat in the area, it's the same thickness as the rest of the body. If they didn't apply gelcoat you could see light through the whole body.
I wish FFR would do one of these videos showing the full body making process. Assembling the molds, prepping the molds with release agent, applying the gel coat, laying the mats, releasing the molds, and trimming the body. I think it would go a long way in clearing up the confusion and misconceptions about how the bodies are made.

That is what I thought. Some people on Facebook were convinced that they were "pre-made sections" and that thet then "glue" them together with additional cloth/resin. Guess I will link this video at 3:20 in the future to refute those claims.

That's how some fiberglass bodies, like early Corvettes were made. The FFR roadster body is one piece, hand laid.

Does anybody know if the 25th Anniversary trunk will fit on the previous body and if FFR is going to be selling them separately? I'd love to swap it out now before paint if that is the case. It would be nice to be able to see the full license plate and have it align vertically with the latch.
