I misread and made a mistake cutting slots for door arms. What is the right way to fix?

Glass entire slot and recut?

or is there another way to build up the error that’s correct? I’m a mechanic and new to glass.....

YES. Finish cutting the slots to where the door is happy. Mark where need to fill and when you take the body back off do the repair. Or, you can make a cover plate out of aluminum....up to you.

The body is back off. I can easily fill the whole thing. Best practice? Just a traditional repair?
