I have my Coupe mostly aligned now, but one thing that is bothering me is the lack of thread engagement in the tie rod ends. To get the wheels perfectly parallel, I'm getting ~10 turns on the rod ends from completely loose. Because the rods are finely threaded, it seems like the tie rod isn't sitting in the rod end very far— there is a LOT of extra thread showing on those rods.

I think the tie rod extensions that FFR supplied me would help the situation a lot, but FFR said those don't get used on the power steering rack.
Question:
How far, or how many turns would you consider the minimum safe distance for the rod ends to be threaded on? Maybe I'm just being overly cautious? Maybe 10 turns is perfectly normal?
I've checked and checked again, and the suspension and spindle steering arms seem to be installed correctly, but happy to send pictures if something doesn't sound right. Much appreciated!
