Still doing lots of carb tuning, but holy crap this is a lot of motor. Here it is at idle. Specs below

https://youtu.be/zP6Fh5LTj9Y

https://youtu.be/zP6Fh5LTj9Y

Compression comes out to 10.2:1.
Heads are twisted wedge 170cc
Rpm intake
Brawler 600 cfm mech secondaries
Custom cam from cam research (233/236 duration on intake/exhaust. .555 lift, and a 106 LSA)
4.125 bore with a 3.4 stroke

From the research and tests I have seen, my heads and carb are probably choking the motor. However, I’m sort of ok with that right now. It has excellent throttle response and is clearly faster than my 302 was, which dyno’d at 338 whp

Now on to fix the pesky oil leak from the back of the intake manifold. First time I messed that one up. I’ll let you guys know when I scatter my T5 lol.

Great sound with the engine. I'll bet it is quick.

Congratulations Fellow Dart-Sider!

Unfortunately we both know that you and I are a pair of Pros when it comes to R & R-ing a power plant.

Congratulations Once Again & Wrench On Brother, Wrench On!

Once I had the intake at the rear wall leak. Fixed it the old fashioned way. Brake cleaned and air dried it 2-3 times. Put a glob of Ultra Grey sealer on my finger tip and smeared it on that joint. Made sure to work it into any gap. Let it dry over night. No leak. I like the Ultra Grey because it is a little thicker consistency than blue, clear, or black. Also the color hides pretty well at the edge of the aluminum manifold.

I don't remember if you have a compressor or not. If you don't buy a can of compressed air they use working on electronics.

Ahhh I soaked a towel in brake clean and cleaned it like that. Then used “the right stuff” to goop it in there lol. We will see if it works

Does sound badass. I left the stock 5.0 cam in mine, one of my regrets. Oh well I’ll build a new motor one day.
What RPM have you got it idling at?
