I bought a Painless #50002, 21-circuit, not installed yet.

Carb, not decided on heat yet.

I have used Auto-wire once, Ron Francis once, and Painless three times.

None are perfect, all will require some adjustments, but I prefer Painless.

I took a gamble on good reviews, and low cost.
Went with the speedway 12 circuit wiring harness.
I'm pretty adept with wiring, so it didn't frighten me at all.
It did have one major flaw that I had to address myself though.
The solenoid for the radiator fan is slightly incorrectly wired. Basically, they didn't isolate the 12+ feeds correctly. As a result, as the radiator fan is spinning down after you shut off the engine.. it's inertia continues to feed voltage back into the entire wiring system.
Enough voltage to keep the engine running for about 3-4 seconds. Took me a while to track that one down.
In the end, putting an inline high-current rectifier bridge diode fixed it.. but.. I hated having to use one.
I messaged speedway, telling them about the error.. but.. didn't hear back.
