Where to buy rear window for a 65 daytona ??? Need help

Can somebody tell me where I can get the rear window for a FFR Daytona ?

Factory five is likely the only place you will find one. They have them made specially for the car. Theirs will also likely only fit a Factory Five.

FFinisher is correct, unless you are looking for the lexan rear hatch which they don’t make anymore. That could only come through a forum member that’s not using theirs

Also, as I understand, they are different depending on the version of Coupe you have. I don't believe the current Gen 3 hatch window fits previous versions, and I've heard it's the only one available from Factory Five. Someone can correct me, but that's what I heard from someone else.

At the very least the Gen3 glass has a latch hole in it that the earlier versions did not.

Gen 2's have an odd shape cutout hole for a complicated handle. Gen 3 has a round hole for a round latch.

What would it take to fab a plexiglass rear hatch?

Could one lay a flat sheet of lexan on top of the existing glass window and with a heat-gun get it take the correct shape?

Or just flex-fit it in there and rivet it in place?

Hi, was just inquiring with FFR about replacement for my front windshield on the coupe (all the same gen 1, 2, 3 so makes it easy). I inquired for you about the rear windshield, appears they are still available. From FFR:

"The glass changed for the Gen 3 but the Gen ½ is still available. (12812 = $375.00 plus shipping). If replacing the rear hatch glass piece for the Gen 1/2 only, it would be: #14886 – rear hatch glass = $499.00 plus shipping. If the rear hatch is lexan, you would need the complete rear hatch retro-fit kit which would be: #15247 = $749.00 plus shipping"

The originals were plexiglass not lexan. Just like the side windows.
Lexan has no hard cote where plexiglass does.

As of today Lexan can be purchased with a hard coat.
