Headed to FFR next week to check things out in person and possibly place an order for a MK4. Been a gearhead all my life and finally to the point of being retired having the time and resources to take on a project. Always admired the Cobras, but knew the real thing was out of reach. Looking forward to planning and the build. Anyone in northern Illinois in the process now, would like to make contact and get some advice.

Well pulled the trigger on a MK4 complete kit in Sept after the visit to the Mothership. Spent the afternoon while there with Mike Forte, time well spent. Have a Nov delivery date for the car and a delivery in the next few days of the powertrain from Forte. Plan on a build thread, not to the extent of some of the folks but timely updates. As of now complete MK4 kit powdercoated frame and a few other goodies from FF5. Gen 3 Coyote with Tremec and Moser 3.55 rear. Stay tuned for more. Really enjoyed the forum thus far for many ideas.

Congratulations. !!!! Sounds like a nice build with the coyote. I’m in northern Illinois just west of elgin. Building a truck with a forte dart 347.
