I would like to get some feed back on which cams and heads any of you 385 series owners are using or had experience with in the roadster.

Hi Nick,
You have lots of cams to choose from. I would absolutely use a hydraulic roller cam and use Ford Racing, Edelbrock or Trick Flow heads. If you want to go over an engine plan, send me an email to: mikeforte302@gmail.com

I used Edelbrock RPM heads. I have Comp Cam 292 cam with .620 lift and 292 duration. The power band is 2500 - 6000 rpm's. The engine has a very rough idle. I get lots of compliments for the sound of the car, never mind that with 400 rwhp is goes pretty fast too.

I definately will use a roller cam Mike. I have the Edelbrock RPM 73cc heads and will use the Mass flo injection system. Green429 I have considered the comp cam 292 and also looked in some of the thumper series with the roller conversions. Thanks for the info. Mike I will probably bend your ear some in the near future. Thanks again gentlemen.
