Dashboard mounting

Forgive me for stupid quastion but can you explain how should be fitted rounded end of dashboard? I can't imagin that simple I think action. Some pictures please . Should dashboard protrude above the frame?

If you have the metal dash (aluminum) then you simply bend the ends inwards toward the square tube frame.
Also, consider adding drop down tabs if you want to be able to easily get to the mounting screws once your body is on.

Located in Poland...I had a couple of classmates from Warsaw when I was at Air Command & Staff College. Welcome!

Lots of people use a paint can to bend the ends of the dash around. Here are some tips for mounting the dash:

- Don't worry about the 3/4" dash hoop; it doesn't match the profile of the dash & the curve varies from car to car. Instead, center the aluminum face between the ends of the dash hoop. If you have move the dash left or right to get the steering wheel opening centered, go ahead and do it.

- Leave ~3/16" of the dash hoop showing at each end; you may have more or less at each end in order to get the bottom of the dash level. - The ends of the dash are ~2" (5 cm) too long. If you have to cut a little off - especially on the right side - to make the dash fit, go ahead and do it.
