Driving any distance in Texas right now gets you soggy pants and shirt. Anyone found a ventilated seat cushion that fits the original FFR driver seat?

Dont have a recommendation for a cushion, but I recently had my seats redone with perforated inserts. The Cobra seats are not that complicated, maybe a local shop could add the perforated back and seat areas to your existing seats without costing an arm and a leg.

It does help a LOT. More than I had anticipated.

As Pete will say....."One of the best mods I have ever done. You're going to love it"

I purchased this seat cooler (https://www.amazon.com/Cushion-Levels-Cooling-Heating-SL26A8/dp/B071DN282D/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=seat+cooler&qid=1563541441&s=gateway&sr=8-5), and it does a good job of preventing sweaty back and shorts. Take it out when you don't need it.

Thanks, Derald. That is definitely an option I’ll consider.

Thanks, Dave. Have you tried it without the fan hooked up?

I've found the mesh lumber support @ Walgreens to be perfect. Allows air to get behind it and cools me off.

Looks like the fan is right where the anti-submarining/crotch belt would go on the 5 point restraint. Have you seen any issues with airflow blockage or squishing the fan due to the crotch belt?

Thanks,
David

I haven't tried it with the fan not hooked up. With regards to the crotch belt, I just push the fan to the side to use the belt. The only time airflow is blocked is when the seat pad slouches in the drivers seat and cuts off the air to the back.
