I have a friend that is the parts manager for the the company that produces Horsepower TV, Powerblock, Extreme 4x4 etc. I just got the car legal last week so I was taking it around and showing my friends. Last friday I took it to his work and before you know it there was 15 people out in the parking lot checking out the car. The guys from Horsepower and Powerbock were there, the owner of the company and the guy that gets the cars for the shows. It was awesome to hear those guys that see so many nice cars tell me how good of a job that I had done!!! Anyway before it was over John (the guy that gets the cars for the show) approached me and asked me if I would be okay with them putting the car on the show. I'm like HECK YA! So he got my info and said that he would be in touch.

I thought that he might just be being nice but yesterday I got a email from him saying that they want to film the car, ask me questions about it on camera and gave me a film date in Nov.

Needless to say, I'm pumped!! He said that as long as FFR doesn't mind them doing a show on a customers GTM that the show would be aired in Dec.

I got alot of attention in the Factory Five Mk3 roadster that I built but it was nothing compared to the attention that I get in this GTM. Its so sweet. I will have a grad thread up soon.

Had to tell someone,

Kris

Awesome!

Sounds like you'll get to meet Courtney Hansen.

She does the interviews, right?

That's pretty cool Kris.

The GTM is a Rock Star! And so are each of us that build them.

Fun Times Buddy!

Kris, I spoke to Jim at RTM and they are very excited about your car. Huge congrats and I told Jim how stoked I am that you are getting the recognition that FFR guys deserve. 100 percent! Congrats again on a job well done.

I can't check this forum while at work because the school system blocks it. Thanks for all the kind words. How cool is it that I log on here after a long day at work and the president of Factory Five has commented on my thread. Dave, I've been watching you and Mark on the original DVD (2005 I think) for years thinkin man I would like to meet these guys. Saved my money, bought the roadster and the rest is history. Sorry, I'm a little star struck.

I will be sure and keep you guys in the loop with any updates I get. As far as any pic's for POM I don't have any real good ones that is why I have hesitated to make my grad thread yet. Bad part now is that I have to wait 2.5 months.

These are not POM worthy by any means but the best I got so far. Taken with a cell phone so quality is low. I plan on going to a show this weekend if its not raining. Maybe I can get some more pic's. Youtube video link at bottom.

That is a great looking car! :) I didn't see a build blog. If you have one, please post. At the very least, what type of paint was used; it looks fantastic. :)

Man, I didn't really do a build log. Should have, but didnt. The paint is PPG Vibrance Line, 3 Stage Candy Apple Red.

Still love the look of your paint and Wheels. Do you have any rubbing issues still with the 345's? I need to get that set of wheels you got. I forgot what offset and sizes you said you ordered. We talked about it on the other forum before.
