Floppy Bulb Seal on Corners

Getting my bulb seal installed for my first mount of the body so that I can fit my dash and seats. Bulb seal went on fairly easily. Only issue is where it makes the bend on the trunk side panels. The bulb seal kind of flops over. Any way to remedy this or it is what it is? I did cut 4 v's in the area that wraps the corner and still it floppity flops.

The bulb always flattens like that when stretched around the tight outer radius.
