GASN Straight Tube Headers - DS Engine Shim?

Anyone recently installed GASN straight tube headers with a Coyote? Did you have to shim the DS of the engine as described in the instructions? The shim was to help with spacing between the engine and foot box but with recent changes to the foot box I wanted to confirm additional shims (beyond what is built into the engine mount) were needed.

With the most recent footbox design -- a couple of years ago -- Factory Five stopped recommending a spacer on the DS only. That was the go to for some time with a Coyote. But hasn't been for a while. You should have the sandwich spacers inside your motor mounts on both sides. Sounds like you found some instructions with the old setup? It happens unfortunately.

I have installed those headers before. They're nice. Georgie does good work. :o
