Hey guys,

A few weeks ago I seen a post on here with pictures of a custom painted shifter ball ( Looked like a pool ball)with stripes on it that someone is selling. I would like to find out who sells them because I would like to order one painted to match my car.

Do any of you know who is selling them??
I did a search but could not find anything.

Thanks
Joe

Here you go! https://speeddawg.com
I just ordered mine from Chris last week- nice guy. They do custom color combos too. Mine will be yellow with white stripes- even though that combo is not on their site.

Saw one up close at our Friday car gathering. It's literally the size of a pool ball. Fine for a hot rod but for my taste too large for a car I intend to shift aggressively. They make smaller balls but if they do em in the cool colors it's not listed on their site.

I think FFR should make some custom shifters with their logo. That would be nice.

Hey I found this place with some cool shifter balls. They can also put on your own logo or artwork. I bet they could put the FFR logo on it.

Those are great, but also bear in mind that many states (my great state of Joisey included) require the shift pattern to be posted in the car. So if isn't on the shifter ball, it has to be on a plaque on the dash or tunnel or somewhere. Not trying to be a stick in the mud, just sayin'...since I don't want it posted elsewhere I bought a knob with the pattern engraved on it. I used the aluminum shift ball from Ford Racing, very nice piece. http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts/part_details.asp?PartKeyField=6606

Any idea what the thread size in on that one? Does it fit the standard FFR shift lever (3/8 x 24)?

The knobs from ford are 12mm

Judging from what I've found on a quick internet search, I think Snakeboost is right with the 12mm. I simply bought the Ford Racing knob from the catalog on the assumption that it would screw onto my Pro 5.0 shifter, which it does -- they're both made for Mustangs, after all. I'm surprised that the FFRshifter is different.

I had mine done here

http://www.dlbilliards.com/

they'll make anything on a ball. IIRC it was $39 and turn around was less than 2 weeks

it's not a great picture, but I think you get the idea... I'm sure they'd make them with the FFR logo too.
