Today they started on my new garage. The neighbor's 50 foot Ash tree destroyed my old garage in June. The contractor started razing it today and tearing out the old slab of the 18.5' x 20.5' garage (built in 1927) and will be pouring for a 24' deep x 26' wide garage.

I have a question: will this be large enough to build a Type 65 Coupe and still give my wife a slot for her Camry? The garden tools and lawn mower will be in the garden shed.

I did mine in a regular double car garage, about 22' by 18' and took the whole thing. I'm thinking you are borderline.

No problem.

First let's start by saying that no garage is ever big enough for a typical motorhead. Now having said that if you are creative then sure it's big enough. I built my roadster in one half of a double bay garage. You may have to keep the body outside while you are working on the chassis etc but it can and has been done many times.

Thanks. Wow Mike, that's tight. But you built a nice roadster in it. I'm really excited. All of the contractors were quoting on a garage but I know it's a garage. Step one of my master plan.
