What is everyone measuring for the angle of the engine compared to the chassis? Here's the angle gauge on my valley cover, chassis is not currently on the ground and measures front down exactly 1 degree, so my engine is 0.8 degrees front down relative to the chassis. I did a custom transaxle mount, just want to make sure I'm in the ballpark. Thanks!

As I mentioned in the other thread, the bottom of the oil pan is consistently the same on every car....about 5/16"-3/8" lower than the bottom of the chassis.

The red arrow is the bottom of the oil pan. The blue arrow is the bottom of the G50 adapter plate. This is viewed with the camera right at the level of the bottom of the chassis.

Is there an aluminum panel that goes under the oil pan? Are you able to mount it? I have the ls3 pan, does it hang lower than the batwing pan? The transmission is actually the lowest part of my system, but just a quarter inch or so flange that I can grind down. Otherwise the lowest part is the bell housing adapter which is just slightly lower than the oil pan.

There is no alum panel under the engine. The photo above is a batwing pan, but the crate engine pans are the exact same depth....so a photo of a crate engine pan or LS7 pan would look the very same as the photo above.
