The build manual references a need to "bend the edge" of the Roadster instrument panel. Does this mean the pre-bent edge along the bottom (in the event that it wasn't pre-bent) or does it refer to bending the ends of the tabs that are put behind the door hinges? Pictures would be particularly helpful in providing a response and I welcome non-FFR folks to post their photos.

I have the same question and also when you bent it what did you use and how do you know how much to bend it.

Trial fit, curved the ends around a paint can to get the proper bend, then formed the final reverse tab bend to go behind the hinge bracket. Jim

Same thing with the bend. Bent the dash at the marks to 90 degrees first then bent the remainder of the end around a 1 quart paint can. Bending the ends is simple and easy but I remember being very uneasy before I started the bends.

I am working with a blank dash and want to be sure I cut the proper size holes. I am using the Factory Five Racing Electric Gauge Set.

I was planning on cutting 2 1/8" holes for the smaller guages and 4" holes for the larger guages.

I want to be certain that they are not too loose yet still have enough room for the dash covering.

Same challenge here, but to top it off I'm using a Casey Design dash which is much thicker. Im honestly intimidated with the bending part. Does anyone know if heat would help make it easier or is it a no-no? Any help is appreciated.
