Better looking switches

Hey folks. Looking for some options for better looking and functioning switches on my dash. turn signal, highbeams, hazards, etc. I have the standard black one way and two way switches but I think they are kinda cheesy and flimsy. Anyone found a good solution?

I used rocker switches with custom engraved backlit switch covers from Rocker Switch Pro. Google them to see what they carry and the custom rockers.

Holden Vintage and Classic in the UK.

I ordered all my toggle switches from them. High quality, rated at 15 amps and look original like the Lucas switches when you add their bezel.

Read the bezel page to see if you need the extra threaded washer for matching the hole size as the Lucas and FFR switches use a larger hole. I bought the bezel and the threaded washer to fit the pre-drilled larger holes. You don't need the threaded washer if you are drilling the holes to fit the switch.

I got the Lucas switches from **********, they look a bit better and are more solid than the FFR ones. Just recently installed so I can't speak to the reliability, they have a reputation of being a bit finicky. You also have to deal with the adventure that is the ********** fulfillment process, but you'll get them eventually... If you're looking for a slightly different look than the black toggle and more substantial construction, check out Ron Francis wiring. Several on these forums talk about them. I may swap to them in the future.

Not sure what your layout is.. but.. I opted for standard looking metal switches.. and then put some of those Aviation style switch guards between them. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. They are aluminum. Got them from eBay.
All of my control switches are just those toggles, including ignition and headlights. They are not in this photo (can't find one) but I put small black with white letter plastic labels below each switch.

Wow, 35 amp switches. Too bad they don't have black blades. I'd consider painting those paddles black with the 35 amp rating and eliminating a relay or two.

I used Cole Hersee toggle switches from Del City for the hazard and low/high beam lights - added chrome washers to them for a little extra bling. I used the Ron Francis Wiring Synergy Series WS-61 for the windshield wiper switch.

I went with smooth faced pushbuttons from Billet Automitive Buttons out of Australia. They offer latching and momentary as well. I used them for the horn, fan over ride, and hazard buttons. Turn signals and high beams are controlled on the Russ Thompson hub. I wanted a smooth dash and these will fit the bill. Next step is to drill the new carbon fiber dash this week to get the gauges and switches placed where I want them.

I used a pair if their momentary switches for my SDC turn signal setup. Nice stuff and fast shipping from Australia.

I switched to Cole Hersey also just because I felt they might be better quality. They have several styles including long handle switches and a slip on plastic extension to make a standard handle longer. I use one on my turn signal switch. Scroll to pg 2. They also have a selection of rubber boots and mounting plates.
