Hi everyone,
I used a picture of my Devin which I bought when I was 14. It looked like a stingray in the front and a cobra in the back. We were driving it to the first "Street Machine Nationals" from Chattanooga to Memphis. It was built for a VW chassis but I stretched it to fit a Corvette frame. She had big block Chevy, tunnel ram 2 4s, lake pipes with the radiator in the rear and 14 inch wide Mickey Thompsons.
I guess the moral of this story is that sometimes you have an idea of what you like in a car subconsciously. It took me years to realize I really wanted a 'Cobra" all the time. When I saw the chassis of the FFR roadster, I was hooked. It is a beautiful peice of engineering. My build is going slowly but I will be ready to start her up very soon.
I have gotten a lot of help already from this new forum. Thanks again and looking forward to much more following the forum!
Thanks,
WEK
